Air Mesh Back Panel
Stolt opted to use soft foam padding on the back panel, which is a nice touch that feels very comfortable. The padding is surrounded by a soft/squishy mesh, creating a nice channel for airflow. There is a trade-off though; the pad, when stowed, creates a bulge in the center of the pack that protrudes into your back when carrying it full. Additionally, since the pads share the same space as the sternum and hip strap buckles, the path of the zipper is warped when the bag is fully loaded. This is a minor issue, but one we noticed when testing the pack.
Padded Shoulder Straps
The shoulder straps are comfortably padded and connect to D-ring hardware. They’re a great option for larger bags or cases with heavy loads or anyone who wants extra comfort and stability. This strap works well with the Daylight Briefcase, Packing Cube Shoulder Bag and most light-in-weight gear storage pieces.

The Shoulder Cush is a great way to add some extra comfort to any strap that doesn’t already have padding, especially those sewn into our bags and cubes (the exception would be the Organizer Cube that comes with its own pad). It uses soft cushioning 3D mesh on the underside for a premium feel. This is a quick and inexpensive upgrade for bags that aren’t compatible with the Absolute Strap.
